About the Parley's Rails, Trails and Tunnels (PRATT) Coalition

Commonly referred to as PRATT, the Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, run by volunteers. To read about the PRATT Coalition and learn about our Partners, go to:

History of the PRATT Coalition 2000-2008 .

The mission of the Parley’s Rails, Trails and Tunnels (PRATT) Coalition is to assist
city, county, state and federal agencies and other public and private partners in completing
a multi-use trail along I-80 via Parley’s Creek Corridor and the Sugar House Rail Spur
to connect the Bonneville Shoreline Trail with the Provo/Jordan River Parkway.

The PRATT Board of Directors meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 South State Street. Meetings are open and the public is welcome to attend. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, in Room S-1002. Please check back for the agenda. Elections of Board members and Officers of the PRATT Coalition will take place at the Annual Meeting on February 25th at the County Government Center, Room S-1002. Please contact the Nominating Committee if you are interested in joining the Board.  Volunteers are needed to fill the positions of Secretary, Vice-chair for Outreach/ Public Relations, and Vice-Chair for Fundraising.
