Parley's Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge

On September 21, 2007 the Parley's Rails, Trails, and Tunnels Coalition celebrated the completion of the connection between the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Parley's Trail.   Along with representatives from the Utah's Congressional delegation, the Utah Trails & Pathways Program, Region 2 of the State Department of Transportation, Salt Lake County, and Salt Lake City, hundreds of trail advocates joined in t he ribbon-cutting and grand opening of the new bicycle and pedestrian bridge over I-215.
The bridge completes the project known as “Parley’s Crossing.”
